The House of Hermès has a long history of creating leather goods of exceptional craftsmanship, having begun as a Paris saddlery in 1837. A Hermès bag is truly a piece of art.  Each bag is handcrafted by a single craftsman, one at a time, using rare skins such a crocodile, ostrich and lizard to name a few.
